Tiffany Hamel Johnson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Chicago United, a corporate membership organization that aims to achieve parity in economic opportunity for people of color in the Chicago area. She leads its mission to advance multiracial leadership in corporate governance, executive management, and business partnerships, thereby transforming the Chicago region into the nation’s most inclusive business ecosystem. Her accomplishments in business, government and non-profit organizations allow her to adeptly collaborate with publicly- and privately-held corporations, as well as small businesses, and drive diversity, equity and inclusion across sectors.
Prior to joining Chicago United in April 2020, Tiffany was the executive vice president of strategy and administration for World Business Chicago (WBC). There, she supported the president and chief executive officer in developing, implementing and executing WBC’s organizational and strategic priorities. From 2000 to 2004, she served as WBC’s director of business development, focusing on corporate headquarters and the financial, insurance and real estate sectors. Tiffany has also served as an assistant and deputy chief neighborhood development officer in former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel‘s administration.
